The Waller County Sheriff’s Office maintains a reserve deputy force of approximately 35 sworn personnel. These deputies volunteer their time to serve the citizens of Waller County. Reserve deputies have the same police powers as our full-time deputies. Reserve deputies are also held to the same training requirements and standards as full-time personnel.
Reserve deputies play a role in nearly all aspects of our agency. These dedicated public servants participate and/or assist with the Patrol, Investigations and Special Operations Divisions.
